Ceiling Plastering
Ceilings take a lot of abuse: water leaks from above, cracks from building movement, and textured coatings that have gone out of fashion. We plaster and skim ceilings flat, repair water-damaged areas, and overboard sagging or uneven ceilings with new plasterboard before skimming.
Artex Removal
Textured ceilings and walls were popular in the 1970s and 1980s but are now one of the most common things homeowners want rid of. We skim over artex to create a smooth finish, which is usually faster and cheaper than trying to scrape it off. Important: artex applied before 2000 may contain asbestos. If there is any doubt, we arrange testing before work starts. We will not risk your safety or ours by skipping this step.
Plaster Repairs and Patching
Cracked, blown, or damaged plaster does not always mean replastering an entire wall. We cut out and patch damaged areas, feathering the repair into the surrounding surface so it disappears under paint.
