Furniture Assembly in Lancing

We build furniture from all the major flat-pack retailers including IKEA, Argos, Wayfair, John Lewis, Amazon, and Next. Common items include wardrobes, chest of drawers, desks, office chairs, beds and bed frames (including bunk beds and cabin beds), dining tables, TV units, shelving units, bookcases, and garden furniture. If it arrives in a box with instructions, we can build it.

Tall furniture like bookcases, wardrobes, and storage units should be fixed to the wall to prevent tipping, especially in homes with young children. We anchor furniture using the correct fixings for the wall type. Many flat-pack items come with a wall-fixing bracket in the box that gets ignored: we always use them.

If you have had a furniture delivery with multiple items, a bedroom set or a full home office for example, booking us for a half-day or full day is the most cost-effective approach. We work through the items systematically and have the tools and experience to get through them quickly.

Working from home means your desk, chair, shelving, and monitor stands need to be set up properly. We assemble office desks (including L-shaped and standing desks), ergonomic chairs, filing cabinets, and shelving units. If you need the desk positioned in a specific spot with cable management underneath, we handle that too, and can mount monitors on desk clamps or wall brackets in the same visit.

Outdoor furniture often arrives in boxes with dozens of components and hardware bags. Garden tables, dining sets, sun loungers, and storage benches all need assembling, and doing it on an uneven lawn makes the job harder. We assemble garden furniture on site and position it where you want it.

You can, and many people do. But some flat-pack items, particularly large wardrobes, cabin beds, and corner desks, are designed for two people with the right tools. If a piece is built slightly off-square, doors will not close properly, drawers will stick, and the whole unit will feel unstable. We have assembled hundreds of flat-pack items and the result is furniture that is square, solid, and properly secured.
